Housing Registration for 2026-2027

This housing registration timeline applies to first-year students interested in being part of the Living Learning Programs (LLPs) .
Housing Registration begins February 1 at 8 a.m. To register, log in to the OSU Housing Portal using your O-Key credentials.
Note: The dates and details listed below may change. Unless otherwise specified, all activities close at 11:59 p.m.
What you need to know
- What are LLPs?
- Living Learning Programs are specialized living environments where you live with fellow students who have similar academic interests or hobbies.
- Explore the Living Learning Programs and find which program matches your interests.
- Key Steps
- Once you’ve been accepted to OSU, submit your LLP application through the OSU admissions portal.
- In addition to applying for an LLP, you must also register for housing beginning February 1.
- If you are accepted into an LLP, your room assignment will be within the designated LLP housing area.
- Key Dates and Deadlines
- October 1 – February 1: Priority consideration for LLP applications.
- February 1: Housing registration opens.
- March 16 is Match Day: Everyone who applied will find out if they have been “matched” with an LLP. Notifications are sent by email. Room assignments are sent later.
- Week of April 19: Students who qualified for the priority consideration will receive an email with their room assignment.
