Cowboy Carriers
We are so excited to be offering a volunteer opportunity to you and your organization during Fall Move-In.
Cowboy Carriers is a program coordinated by Housing and Residential Life to assist parents and first-year students with the fall move-in process. As you can imagine, it can be stressful and intimidating for some families when they arrive on campus simultaneously with thousands of other families.
Volunteering to be a Cowboy Carrier brings you together with a community of like-minded people working toward a common goal. As a result, you will form friendships, have important conversations with new students, and exemplify two of the university's core values:
- Community. Foster a strong sense of community based on shared governance among students, faculty, staff and administration.
- Service. Serving others is a noble and worthy endeavor and a distinguishing feature of a land-grant institution.

The university depends heavily on your assistance when new students arrive. We want
to ensure all our on-campus residents have an excellent start to the year, and we
are confident this program will send a memorable, meaningful, and lasting positive
message to students and parents.
If you have any questions and/or are interested in participating, please contact mumbe.kithakye@okstate.edu. Thanks in advance, and we look forward to working with you. Go Pokes!
